Whether you’ve already decided to marry in the Lake District or you’re still considering, it’s lovely to ‘meet’ you. I’m Caroline, the owner and wedding planner at Cote How Lake District Weddings, our beautiful Lake District wedding venue in Rydal. Along with our small team, I am privileged to plan and deliver beautifully crafted weddings in the heart of the Lakes.
Our wedding venue is exclusive to you, supporting you both through your wedding planning journey. With our expertise, we have been helping couples like you for over a decade. Cote How is not just another Lake District venue—it is a magical wedding experience.
Before I was a Wedding PLanner
As a wedding dress designer, wedding planning was a natural step when I moved to Cote How. The house was a thriving organic tearoom and bed & breakfast, but I missed working with wedding couples and knew Cote How could offer so much more. Living here is magical, and I wanted to share that experience. So I began converting the house and barn and gained our wedding license. In 2013, we hosted our first wedding – and have never looked back! I remember our first wedding as if it was yesterday. And here we are ten years and hundreds of weddings later. Cote How Lake District Weddings has grown beyond our wildest dreams. Being part of your wedding journey is the most incredible privilege, and I love what I do.

If Cote How is the perfect match for your vision, I reserve your wedding date in our diary, and we decide on the best wedding style to suit you and your guests. When you’re all signed up, our journey begins. Together, we plan the schedule for your wedding day, and are at the end of the phone or email if you need us. I help you find a trusted photographer, make-up artist, hair stylist, dog chaperone, and wedding childcare. We advise on reliable transport and local places to stay. It’s all part of our full wedding planning service and commitment to you that comes with getting married here. You are in safe hands!
On The Day
I am here to welcome you and still here to wave you off at the end of your magical celebration. And it’s amazing what goes on behind the scenes during the day of wedding delivery! We’ve perfected the art of discreetly making sure nothing is forgotten and everything runs on time. Whether a tiny elopement or full-day celebration, each wedding deserves our best care. From ensuring guests are happy and the flowers have arrived to sewing on emergency buttons, we make sure your wedding day flows seamlessly!
