WEDDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS
Tiree Dawson
We first met Tiree in 2015 and were so impressed by her gentle nature and swift silent captures. She is based in Windermere and has a love of natural wedding photography, capturing candid detail shots and lovely aspects of nature – especially lovely skies!
She has a very artistic eye and likes to capture very quirky shots in addition to all the fabby reportage and traditional shots!

Kind words from Tiree…
We have a lot of amazing venues in the Lake District, and a lot of incredibly enthusiastic venue owners and managers… and Caroline and Steve at Cote how are most definitely up there with the best of the best! The Cote How team not only always look after their couples and make sure they have everything they need, they also run their business with great passion.
They continually strive to make further improvements every season and they follow and even influence the latest trends – there’s always a sense of energy rather than complacency.
Cote How is their family home and they share it as an idyllic Lakeland wedding and elopement venue. A short amble down the field and you’re on the shores of Rydal Water. A wander through the trees )packed with bluebells in the spring) and up the fell and you have the grandeur of Rydal Caves and open views to the fells up to the north- as well as back down to Rydal.
Caroline & Steve specialise in relaxed, hassle-free micro weddings and elopements, and offer a number of carefully tailored packages. there is a range of options for your ceremony and plenty of places for stunning photos whatever the weather.
JO GREENFIELD
We first met Jo in 2020 when she was introduced to us on a photo shoot.
Jo lives in Ulverston and loves all styles of weddings from tiny to full days. She has a pilots licensee for drone work and will incorporate film and stills into her work.
She also loves a hike, so if you are feeling adventurous on your wedding day remember to book in extra time for that!

CLARE GELDERD

Howdy, you wonderful humans who wish to tie the knot at the stunning Cote How.
I’m Clare Gelderd, who lives in the South Lakes, Ulverston – only a stone’s throw away from Cote how (if you throw as enthusiastically as me anyway!)
I’m very much a down-to-earth photographer that is always ‘keeping it real’.
Being an adventurous and outdoorsy Northern lass with farming in my blood and a wild creative flare, Cote How is one of my favourite locations to work.
Whether it is just the two of you or an alternative ceremony, I am dedicated and fearless, photographing each moment in the purest way whilst ensuring your photographs are visually artistic and unique.
Additionally, you’ll find I am laid back, enthusiastic and light-hearted without navigating away from a luxury service and outcome.

Jenna Carpenter
If I had to pick a favourite venue in the Lake District it would be Cote How. The combination of the incredible welcome and service Caroline, Steve and their team provide together with the location and style of Cote How makes it my number one.
The team at Cote How are devoted to providing you with an amazing experience. They go above and beyond to help create your special day. This may be in the form of a small intimate wedding in the Lakeland house or it could be just the two of your saying your vows in the rustic barn before embarking on an adventure!
I absolutely love photographing weddings at Cote How and love working with couples to create a photography package to capture their plans for their day. This could include a hike to the caves in walking boots, a walk through the peaceful woodlands, dipping your toes in Rydal water, or even just enjoying the beauty of Cote How from the gardens. I look forward to each and every wedding at Cote How. If you are thinking about booking, take a look at some of my past weddings on the links below or get in touch as I’d love to hear from you.

Kathryn - Delicious Photography
I’m Kathryn, down-to-earth, natural Wedding Photographer!
I’m from a lovely little village near Accrington, Lancashire where i live with our crazy one year old, feisty Jack Russell and husband!
I’ve been photographing Weddings since 2010, after a summer in Peru when I realised I loved telling stories; capturing human connection and emotions. Weddings are full of so many moments, and the best photos are usually the ones you don’t plan or expect. My aim is to let your wedding unfold as it happens and blend in like an old friend, never stealing you away from your guests for too long but still capturing the people most important to you! I often work with self professed “awkward” people so if your idea of being photographed makes you quiver that’s ok! My questionable wit and chattiness usually puts people at ease, even if you are laughing at me rather than with me!
Cote How is a photographer’s paradise with so many beautiful spots for photos without venturing very far! I’ve had the pleasure of working there a couple of times and it’s somewhere I always get excited about! I offer both Micro Packages and Half/Full Day Coverage to suit your plans. Get in touch if you’d like to chat more about your Cote How Wedding.

Paula MotTRam
My photography style focuses on who you really are, the people you love and moments that must be cherished.
I am a full-time photographer, and I started my photography business in 2011. I have had the privilege of photographing some of the most beautiful weddings and family photo shoots. I am based in Cheshire but love to take my photography all over the UK. I have a diploma in photography but it is the experience I have had over the years that has given me a firm foundation in journalistic-style wedding photography. But my favourite place on earth is the Lake District. My father moved to the Lakes when I was six years old, so it is my childhood home.
Cote How is one of my favourite wedding venues. Caroline is amazing and her attention to detail is second to none.
Capturing natural moments is very important to me. A candid photograph captures a person in their truest form. Genuine expression, emotion, and personality are saved forever. These images are my true passion. Although the formal photos are important too, the photographs we love the most ourselves are the photos we didn’t even know were being taken. If you look through my portfolio, you will see that this is my approach. I like to blend into the background.
To love your job is a real privilege. Something I am thankful for every day.

Rachel Joyce
It’s always a bit odd writing about yourself but I’m probably the one non-guest at your wedding that you’ll spend the most time with. So it’s worth making sure I’m not a weirdo. Or at least – I’m the right kind of weirdo for you! So let me tell you a little bit more about me. I’m based right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, with my husband, our offspring and our menagerie of animals. We love adventuring, seaside holidays and getting muddy feet.
I never planned on being a wedding photographer (I’m not sure anyone does!) In fact I only picked up a ‘proper’ camera back in 2011 when I was pregnant with my daughter and my hubby was spendy on electronics. And BOOM. I was hooked. 300 or so weddings later and I still pinch myself that this is my real life – actual-people – pay – me to do this – job. It’s smashing.
One of the best things about my job is the incredible places I get to visit and Cote How is up there with my absolute favourites. I’ve been lucky enough to be on the recommended supplier list for a number of years and I’ve photographed the weddings of lots of lovely couples here – some teeny tiny and some not so much.
I’ve created some exclusive packages just for Cote How couples. Please get in touch if you’d like to chat more about your day.

Simon Hughes
We first met Simon in 2017 and he has photographed many weddings here since. Based in the North Lakes, Simon is a proper gent, a joy to work with and will put you at ease with having your photos taken.
He shoots and edits in a creative, natural style for fun and romantic images that make the most of the stunning Lake District scenery and will evoke wonderful memories of your time at Cote How for years to come.
You can see more of his work on his website where he has kindly collated the weddings he has shot here at Cote How, so you can see a variety of weddings and styles throughout the seasons.

JULIE ROBINSON
Originally from Northern Ireland, my passions are both people (in a previous life I was a HR Manager) and photography. Combine them both together and that is when the magic happens.
Using gentle direction when needed I create a safe enjoyable space for my very gorgeous couples to have fun, relax and be their authentic self. This allows true personalities to shine through and that’s when great photos are made.
I love shooting at Cote How, I think it’s one of the most beautiful quintessential perfect Lake District venues and am overjoyed to be on Cote How’s recommended suppliers list. Caroline and Steve show love, care and real attention to detail when looking after their couples, they think of everything and there is a sense that they really are in safe hands. Equally, I can see the warmth and affection that all my couples hold for them both in return. It’s just love all around!

A bit about Sophie…
Hey, I’m Sophie. I’m a destination wedding and elopement photographer, story-teller, and absolute cheerleader. Tom McNally
We have had the pleasure of working with Tom on many occasions now and we love his work – He is a great guy, easy going and his pictures speak for themselves. Tom does a lot of large dramatic landscape work and adventure outdoor photography.
Based in north Cumbria Tom has mainly focused on outdoor photography and has some brilliant work on his website.

Jo Bradbury
We first met Jo on a photoshoot here way back in 2013. Jo was born in Ulverston and lives in Manchester and covers weddings all over the Lake District in her fine art style.
She is a very quiet and mild-mannered lady with a deft touch and a quick eye. She has a dreamy vintage look to her work and loves working in the evening sun, as she uses backlit photography as her style.

steve hillman
We first met Steve at Laura and Ross’s wedding in June 2021, when in fact Steve very kindly recommended us to Laura and Ross (legend!). This is fairly rare, but we had been in touch with Steve for quite a long time on social media and were dleighted to eventually get to meet.
We had a wonderful wedding and Steve was great working with Laura and ross and helping us to smooth the wedding nerves.
Take a peek at their wedding photogpraphs to see how relaxed and laid back there wedding was! Despite a little confetti from heaven!

ANDY STELMACH - VIDEOGRAPHER
“I’m Andy, a wedding filmmaker from North Yorkshire and I’ve been in the wedding industry since 2013. I create timeless wedding films for discerning couples who have taken me to every corner of the UK and overseas. There’s something special about filming in the Lakes though, it’s got natural beauty that you’d be hard pushed to find anywhere else, and at Cote How, it’s right on the doorstep!
I’m honoured to be on Cote How’s recommended suppliers list; it’s a beautiful venue, run passionately by the lovely Steve and Caroline and their awesome team, who always take great care of their guests with that personal touch. A wedding day at Cote How is always incredibly well-organised, with great attention to detail and always with a smile. So, whether I’m filming a micro-wedding, an elopement or a small wedding, it’s a place I always get excited about going back.”
