Ryan and Emma first came to meet us after falling in love with the Lake District. We took a stroll around Cote How and chatted about all things wedding. They had always wanted a small and intimate family wedding, with a guest list of very close family and friends. Cote How was perfect for Ryan and Emma’s relaxed, laid-back wedding style, in a place they both loved.

A PASSION FOR THE LAKES and nature

Emma and Ryan visited the Lakes for the first time around five years ago. It was their first trip away together, and they instantly fell in love with the area. It was a special place where they could both share their love of the outdoors. It naturally followed then that their perfect wedding destination would be in the Lakes too!

WHAT THEIR SMALL DAY WEDDING INCLUDED

Our happy couple opted for an all-inclusive summer day wedding. This is our most popular wedding style with an all-inclusive package to take the strain out of wedding planning.

It includes:

Classic drinks reception – meeting and greeting time on the house terrace
An intimate wedding ceremony in a choice of locations, both indoors and out
A post-ceremony drinks and canapes reception
Plenty of time for taking photographs in and around the grounds
A stroll to the lakeshores of Rydal Water for wedding portraits in the meadow and along the lakeshore.
The traditional cutting of the cake to mark the start of the meal. The cake, knife, and stand are included
A toast for the speeches
Fresh wedding flowers, both for the happy couple and the venue.
A delicious, freshly prepared three-course dinner in the rustic 16th-century barn
Wine and tea or coffee with dessert
