What the award means to us
Caroline and Steve are thrilled at winning the Bridebook Award for UK Barn Venue of 2019. Caroline says, “We see this award as industry recognition for the many days and long hours of hard work and dedication in providing our lovely wedding couples with the best wedding we can deliver. This year is the first time we have entered any awards, and we are thrilled that we have been recognised as a tiny independent venue for our efforts.”
They see the award as a celebration of the many happy couples that have held their wedding at Cote How over the last five years. They hope this award will help promote the business to a broader audience and send out a message to all smaller companies that with a lot of effort and determination, it is possible to offer couples an unforgettable wedding experience.

About Caroline and Steve
Caroline established Cote How in 2006, extending the business into wedding ceremonies in 2013. Renowned for her attention to detail, and with Caroline’s 30 years’ experience as bridalwear designer then hotelier, Caroline guides our clients every step of the way, from initial enquiry through to their wedding day and beyond with her expert planning service.
Steve joined the business full-time in February 2017 to help strengthen the team as the business expanded, bringing over 20 years of consultancy and business management experience with him. Steve has a very hands-on role focusing on venue management and wedding delivery.
Together Caroline and Steve form an effective family-team to make their client’s wedding a truly unforgettable and magically unique lifetime experience.
