Real MIDWEEK wedding REVIEW...
Rosie and Sam's All-Inclusive Wedding
Cote How Review – Sam & Rosie “Sheer perfection! Cote How is an idyllic setting for anyone looking for a small, private and beautifully organised wedding in the Lake District. We cannot thank Caroline, Sophie and all the team at Cote How enough for an amazing day. As a bit of a wedding phobic couple not even we knew what we really wanted but every last detail was perfect and the day ran so smoothly. Every need was catered for and our guests were full of compliments for the venue and its location. Not only were the house and barn immaculate and beautifully decorated, Rydal Water is but a stone’s throw away and the perfect location for photographs. We cannot praise highly enough and couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else.” OCTOBER 2020

Mia & Harry's RAINY AUGUST WEDDING
Here is a photo story of a wonderful real wedding here at Cote How. Mia and Harry opted for a 6 hour day wedding in August 2021 with 24 guests. They enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed day with close family friends which included a delightful ceremony inside the house, amid chandeliers and mirrors, with delightful lighting. They then enjoyed drinks and canapes in the Woodrow Room before capturing some magical photographic moments on their Cumbria Classic Coach before heading to the river and Lake for some stunning portrait photographs with Paula their photographer. Dinner was then served in the Historic 16th Century barn followed by a little first dance and fun before all departed to the accommodation in Ambleside via their Vintage Bus!

Rosie and Sam's OCTOBER wedding
Sam and Rosie are keen Lake District enthusiasts and often come here on holiday making Cote How a perfect choice for them. They had a tiny wedding of just 14 people in total and wanted ot give their family and close friends a real treat. They opted for the midweek all-inclusive as it meant that they could come to the Lakes on holiday as usual and stay locally on the lead up to their wedding day the remain in the Lakes for the remainder of their holiday as their romantic mini-moon.
They booked their accommodation locally and arrange for Mountain Goat Executive hire to ferry their wedding guests all in one go! A great way to arrive all together and enjoy every minute together as a family.
They opted for a ceremony in the house, keeping the barn under wraps for their guests to feast their eyes on later – This is always a lovely touch as the guests sometimes have no idea that we have a quaint barn with amazing views just down the terrace from the house!
They all enjoyed a beautiful autumnal day (early October) and got some fabulous photographs down by the lake and all around the grounds – As is normal – Rachel really does cover all angles!
