Naturally Lakeland - Exclusively Yours
In a nutshell it is a wedding for just two people wishing to tie the knot at a destination location away from home and enjoy a stress free wedding day in private. This is usually done in secret with no friends or family present.
Today it still involves getting married away from home and some couples choose to keep it their secret, others don't. Put simply, it is a no fuss wedding involving a classic ceremony in a beautiful destination with a romantic, almost cheeky feel.
All of our elopement weddings for 'Just the Two of You' include a bottle of Prosecco, music played for you, and us as witnesses. We will also be on hand, in the background, to ensure everything runs smoothly leaving you to focus on each other and savour every moment. That's us (Caroline and Steve) in the pic!

There is something especially romantic about the thought of running away together to get married in secret.
You need to look for a wedding venue that specifically caters for elopement weddings. Many offer elopements but check out the privacy. Will you be offered a bedroom to get married in, or a corner of the restaurant to eat in?
Look for somewhere that gives you privacy. It 's not quite so romantic when gown clad Spa seekers are wondering around the venue.
There are dedicated venues out there that specialise in elopement weddings and will be happy to offer you fully exclusive use.
Look for venues with a dedicated wedding planner that will be with you on your special day. It is always easier if you can get to know your planner and have consistency and support throughout the planning process. This helps you get to know them, and builds confidence and trust. A very important element for your special day.
If the venue is offering to provide witnesses for you, then ask who will that be? Get to know them.
Lots of venues are located in great places around the UK, so seek out one that has special meaning to the two of you. Maybe a special place where you have holidayed together, maybe where you proposed. Think about combining your elopement wedding with a mini break or quick getaway holiday. This way it will be easier to fend off prying questions from family and friends.
We have designed three different elopement packages, each intended to suit different needs and budgets..
