Weddings in the Heart of the Lake District
Cote How specialises in small intimate weddings which includes fully exclusive use of our 16th century venue in it's entirety, including our four acres of grounds, with an adjacent field down to the lake shore of Rydal Water, the bluebell woods and the River Rothay. A picturesque wooden footbridge leads to Rydal church 200m away. There are very few establishments with a more perfect setting for wedding photographs.
Unlike corporate venues and larger hotels, every wedding here at Cote How enjoys total exclusivity giving you and your bridal party total privacy for the duration of your wedding. For this reason, we have set out packages to accommodate different types of weddings and budgets.
We have two rooms in the house plus our barn, which is licensed for both Civil Ceremonies and Gay Weddings.
The Fairfield Room at Cote How is licensed for up to 50 people (including children, Bride and Groom)
The Lounge is licensed for up to 20 people and the Barn for up to 80 people, with your congregation seated indoors or out (weather permitting)
Live music can also be arranged and the Barn is an ideal venue for more energetic celebrations!
Every wedding is unique, and as experienced wedding planners and event organisers, we are on hand to ensure that your day is exactly as you wish it to be. With limitless energy and creativity, you can count on us to guarantee that your special day is realised, whatever your inspiration.
