Our Micro Weddings are perfect for those who prefer a small and intimate ceremony but still want to celebrate with their loved ones. You have the option to choose the duration of your wedding – either 3 or 5 hours – depending on your preference. The package can accommodate up to 12 people from October to April and up to 24 people from May to September.

We understand why many couples choose to get married in the Lake District – it holds special memories of childhood holidays, family outings, and romantic proposals. With our Micro Weddings packages, you can still have your dream wedding in your preferred location, but at a smaller and more affordable scale. On your special day, you’ll start by sipping arrival drinks in our beautiful Woodrow room or on the outdoor terrace, which offers stunning views of Rydal Valley. You can choose to have your ceremony indoors or outdoors in one of our licensed spaces. A drinks reception is included, giving you and your closest family and friends a chance to toast your celebrations. Afterwards, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Cote How or wander to some of the surrounding beauty spots, such as Rydal water, woods, and caves. It’s the perfect location for capturing those all-important Lake District wedding photos.

Our Licensed Ceremony Spaces...
Here at our Micro wedding venue, we have a choice of intimate ceremony locations. Our Fairfield room is perfect for an indoor ceremony, filled with candles, green foliage, twinkling fairy lights and silk flowers. Our outside ceremony space offers the perfect Lake District location, outside our rustic barn, overlooking Rydal valley and the fells beyond.

'The LOVED ONES' MICRO Wedding
Our extended 3-hour afternoon wedding is designed to include those nearest and dearest that you simply cannot marry without them being there.
These are literally your most precious people, be they your parents, siblings or best friends. This includes eight of you in total, so the two of you plus an additional six guests.
Perfect for when eloping is what you want, but you need those special ones with you.

The 3-Hour Classic Micro Wedding is ideal for those who want to keep their guest list small but have a bigger ceremony than an elopement. This classic Micro includes arrival drinks, an intimate wedding ceremony, indoors or out, post-wedding drinks reception on the house terrace, and lots of love for 9-24 people in the summer and up to 12 in winter.

For those who want to extend their celebration, the Afternoon Delight package offers an extended 5-hour wedding, including fresh flowers for the bride and groom and six vases of fresh venue flowers to decorate the aisle and ceremony table. You also enjoy an afternoon lunch featuring a beautiful array of continental-style food, presented as a grazing table in the centre of the barn.

'Winter & Festive Weddings
Our 3 and 4 hour Micro weddings are available as festive and Winter weddings from October – March for up to 12 guests only.
The house is cosy and welcoming with log fire, and candlelight and the barn is closed for the colder months.
The house will be fully decorated with festive treats from 1st December through to 6th January.
This includes our splendid Christmas tree in the Woodrow reception Room, greenery and natural garlands, and fairy lights throughout the house.
Options for drinks also include Mulled wine, winter Pimms and hot chocolate!
