‘Where to begin.. our wedding day was the most relaxed, comfortable and beautiful day and the team at Cote How, Caroline and Steve raised the bar for expectations. It was the first and only place we visited when we started our wedding planning. As soon as we stepped foot on the grounds, it was a very easy yes from us. The landscape and short walk to Rydal water made it feel familiar as we’ve visited so many times and I’m December, it’s fantasy like. Getting married in the heart of the Lake District, yes please! Whilst Cote How accommodate for many types of weddings and all year round, we wanted something in winter as we enjoy the colder months and wanted the Hygge feeling with a roaring fire and fun festivities and to say they delivered, is an understatement. It honestly was a case of showing up on the day and everything was done for us to an immaculate and beautiful standard. You can see how much Caroline and Steve thrive in what they do, the passion and love that goes into their work is something never seen before and we are eternally grateful to them for curating and delivering our special day. One that we will truly never forget. The practicality of the portal via the website used to collect information is a genius idea because you can stop and start and edit as you go along. It helps with the prompting of things to consider so you don’t need to buy a wedding planner and with regular check ins from the team, with the final sign off coming a few weeks before with meal choices etc. it’s straight forward and comforting to know it’s all in good hands. All the music can be sent through the portal, all flower choices and intricate details of what you might want. The whole process is relaxed, user friendly and flexible. They brought our vision to life, they are a very easy team to trust because they really are the golden stars of the industry. I could break each section down but it would be pointless because all elements of atmosphere, the property and grounds, the food, the drinks (Caroline’s cocktails especially), the smell, the joyous energy, the magic they create, the dedicated due that are Caroline and Steve, everything gets five stars from us. Wedding’s are overwhelming but the pace and relaxed manner of Cote How just puts you right at ease. Somehow they make it feel like home away from home with a sparkle of magic and a whole lot of love.
