Still a family home, Cote How is a rapidly growing, award-winning, family-run, unique destination wedding business, designing and hosting incredible private exclusive-use weddings in our luxury venue for 2-24 people.


Wedding Coordinator and Administration Assistant
£22,000 – £27,000
Full time – 37 hours per week (Average)
Due to the growth of our bespoke wedding venue business, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Wedding Delivery and Administration Assistant.
As assistant to the Wedding Director you will be a key part of the team. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for hospitality and people and is proud to work in a small family business. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, able to work on their initiative following training, and has the drive to build our business with us.
The nature of the role is to maintain a friendly and professional voice for the business, dealing with and building relationships with our wedding couples and their guests before, during and after their wedding day.
As part of a family team, dependability and honesty is essential.
This is a diverse role and requires strong organisational skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Key tasks:
- Competent use of IT, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Assisting with initial enquiries and preparing for show rounds.
- Wedding planning administration.
- Assisting with marketing (social media administration)
- Venue readiness – ensuring that the whole venue is always clean and tidy
- Event set-up, delivery including bar and food service and post-event close-down
Person specification:
- Ability to deal with people of all generations in a calm, polite and professional manner
- Excellent verbal (telephone and face-to-face) and written communication skills
- Energy and enthusiasm for your role
- Reliable and honest
- Happy to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail – noticing the tiny touches that make the difference between good customer service and EXCEPTIONAL customer service
The team at Cote How are all willing to tackle whatever tasks are required of them to deliver the best possible experience for their couples. As a key staff member, and while having a defined role, you will be willing to assist with whatever task is needed to help the whole team meet the expectations of wedding couples and their guests.
The successful candidate will be willing to work flexibly. The nature of our wedding business means that some weekend work is required, particularly in the summer months and variable hours, especially during wedding delivery. In return, we are happy to offer the right person flexible working as permitted by the workload. This is a full-time role, and additional responsibility and potential rewards will be offered to anyone that shows a solid commitment to the needs of the business.

PART TIME House keeper

- Routinely cleaning the wedding spaces
- Cleaning office and personal spaces
- Cleaning of accommodation spaces as required
- Deep cleaning on a rota system
- Laundry and ironing on occasion
PART TIME GARDENER

2 days per week – can be flexible
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Weeding, pruning, mowing
- Managing the greenhouse, raised beds, Seeding new stock, bringing on plants, looking after tubs and baskets
- Winter tidying
- Garden renovations and improvements
